Prince Charles

The Sunday Times is today reporting that Prince Charles farms according tothe phase of the Moon.& Unfortunately, you need to register to read the story on their website, but you can hear what Prof. Heinz Wolffhas to say on the matter in Radio 4's Broadcasting House, fastforward to about 38 minutes to hear his bit. He points out that itmight sound silly, but there might be something to it. The Moon does have a measurablephysical effect on the Earth (not just tides in the ocean, the land alsohas tides but they are less easy to measure), but how much of an effect this has on plants is debatable.
